Beer & Whiskey Brewer’s Dinner at the Pub

Our next Brewer’s Dinner is scheduled for March 23rd and it’s one of our annual favorites. The Whiskey and Brews dinner is 5 courses each paired with a craft brew that’s paired with the perfect whiskey. This is always a fun evening as we take your palette on a wild and flavorful culinary journey. Chef Thomas and Head Brewer Forrest Knapp will be guiding you through the food and beer pairings but we will also have a special guest from Jameson to speak about the whiskey pairings. He’s also bringing a beautiful 25 year Glenlivet to go with the main course, this is not one to miss! $50/person $45/Mug Club Members. For questions or reservations call us at 248-650-5080
First Course-
Escargot simmered in a garlic herb butter topped with puff pastry and baked to a golden brown served with a frisse and orange supreme salad tossed with truffle oil (Aberlour 18)
Second Course-
Wild caught Colombia River Sturgeon stuffed with king crab and roasted served over squid ink linguine pasta simmered in a fish fumet (Mayor Pingree)
Third Course-
Berkshire pork loin rubbed with fresh thyme, lemon zest, garlic, parsley, and seared served over a smoked grain and barley salad topped with a crab apple mostarda (Whistle Pig)
Fourth Course-
Cervena venison chop marinated with juniper and cinnamon sticks and grilled, served over a duck confit and brioche spoon bread, Candied watermelon radish, and finished with a brown butter and orange reduction (Gelenlivet 25 year)
Kentucky whiskey cake made with dates, pineapple, and scapa whiskey, served with smoked Amarena cherries and drizzled with lavender infused honey (Scapa Scotch)
